What if a client wants to start preparing dinner while you meet? What if a client wants to keep their camera off? Or starts to cry on camera? The teletherapy space creates unique challenges and opportunities.
In this course, we'll learn how to build a strong therapeutic connection—even from a distance—by developing skills to navigate the unique challenges of teletherapy. We'll start by discussing what makes connecting in teletherapy different from in-person sessions, and then move on to practical skills you can use to facilitate spaces where clients feel connected, seen, and supported.
