This course provides a foundational exploration into how chronic stress and complex trauma fundamentally impact a child’s development, behavioral expression, and overall functioning. Participants will bridge the gap between the neurobiology of trauma and real-world intervention, gaining practical, trauma-informed skills to foster trust and emotional regulation within milieu-based settings.
